I'm having a fine day, but I'm not feeling all that great right now. Have a 190SL to enjoy.

The car underwent a nut and bolt restoration to factory condition. Though I've been around a 300SL, I can't say I thought to see if that's just what it looked like. Being the trunk latch, I suspect the seal may be there to protect the finish, if nothing else.

This car has 92k+ miles (I forget the exact number), and has been in the owners family since it was bought new.
Has been entered, and won, in Best in Class and Best in Show, on top of being the least expensive car in the entire show.
Meanwhile, a client of mine just imported a 300SL convertible that's been in his family for the past 20 odd years. Pieces of Art, indeed.

im sure it has won best of show many times lol, I bet she is a beauty. We have a convertible also but I believe its a 63 or 64, different body style. It's in a light blue but does have some little issues, clean as hell, but not 100%
